The first activity to promote English proficiency for young staff was held on March 26th, which organized by our Youth League Committee. David Joseph and Helen Zhao from Wall Street English were invited to give a speech in our hospital. More than forty young medical staff enjoyed the calss and communicated with each other in English. In David’s opinion, the major problems in learning English include lack of confidence and practice, and fear to lose so-called “face”. “Learning English as our mother tongue is the best way！”David said. Mrs.Helen showed us the study skills. She also made us a chance to have a salon in Wall Street English later.
